The Oasis is chartered as a Public Charitable organization; therefore, we provide services and activities to all people without discrimination and/or affiliation through membership. However, membership is a key component to our very existence and the pursuit of grants. Membership is the benchmark most grants used as a gauge of community support for our organization. Dues not only help us print and mail the newsletter to you, they are also an avenue to buy supplies, pay for utilities, building repairs, etc.

The cost to administer programs and operations has increased, like many businesses. The Oasis receives funding, yearly, from the Logan County Senior Levy, United Way, and Age Link Agency. Some money comes from local businesses for specific projects (example: dishwasher). We are dependent on contributions, donations, and membership dues.
